Quantaray's 70-300mm F4-5.6 LDO MACRO SUPER is one of several new telephoto zoom lenses. It is a compact Apochromatic telephoto zoom lens incorporating two Special Low Dispersion (LDO) glass elements in the front lens group, plus one Special Low Dispersion glass element in the rear lens group, to minimize chromatic aberration. It is a Tele-Macro Zoom lens, capable of focusing down to 1: 2 (half life-size) reproduction ratio at 300mm focal length with superb optical quality. The lens materials used in this new product are lead and arsenic free ecological glass.PRODUCT FEATURES:Aperture type: Automatic/Variable.This product is designed for Nikon systems.

    a good value

    The picture quality is quite good--seems very sharp. On the Nikon D40 the focus is manual. My daughter used it in her camera (D70) and utilized the Auto-Focus. It was a bit loud. It focused quickly. The zoom is stiff. The manual focus ring is smooth and easy to use. The focal distance of this lens on my camera is 105mm - 450mm. It is easy to hold steady. Many of the pictures I took last night were handheld at 1/60th of second, 150-180mm.

    Great

    This Lens was bought used but it is worth the bargain. The macro feature is great.It is smooth and very exact.I still use a film camera and I'm very happy with the results. Buy with confidence.

    Just what the doctor ordered

    The Quantaray Tech 10-300 mm is a great lens. I continue to be amazed at the clarity and ease in using it. It is a wonderful edition to my imagery tools...absolutely love it!
