The optics are clear with adjustable focus, zoom, and AR Turret which calculator bullet drop out to 500 yards by dialing the top elevation quick dial. 1 is 100 yards 2 is 200 and so on. The red dot is tiny but usable. The dot is a little fuzzy but still works fine with no major parallax issues yet it is delicate when changing the cr2032 battery. Zoom dial on the scope is a little stiff but should loosen with use. Uses a single AA battery for the illuminated reticle. Reticle switches from red/blue and has about 5 brightness settings. Red works best at night, blue for dusk/dawn. Overall good quality build and designed for the AR 5.56 xm193 platform with the distance turret which was made for xm193 bullet drop.

Just slightly off square when mounting. Able to compensate with adjustment. Otherwise does great. For the money can't beat it, only a $500 prism sight

When turning the zoom dial, the lens does not zoom in or out. It stays stationary.The yardage dial on top is very gritty and difficult to turn and does not click into place well.
