Great Gmbal For on the Go
This is a first gimbal I ever purchased and out of the box, it worked wonderfully. Used for my Samsung S7 with a case with no problem. It has extra weights to balance a the camera. Once you pre-ballance it, it doesn't take long to initialize and start working. Beats using a small camera stabilizer. Videos are very stable for what I use it for.

With a couple tweaks it works great
The device is worth every penny. It just works great, provided that you balance your phone or gopro prior to turning the gimbal on. I have an LG-G4 phone and due to its curvy form I remove its back cover in order for the clamp to grip securely. Also, my copy of the gimbal is not correctly tuned; it's 5 degrees off counter-clock-wise so I shim it with tape until I can calibrate it with the software at a later time. Stability to spare!
Before I had the Lanparte gimbal, I had been using vastly inferior gimbals with deeply frustration results in both operating and the final systems themselves. The Lanparte is extremely well engineered, thoughtfully designed, ergonomically well crafted, and has a remarkable well thought through system; from easy to slide in and out batteries, to the variety of accessories they make it both easy to use but versatile. It's main job, being a steady Gumbal for small cameras, is simply the best I have experienced so far. After taking a few minutes for me to understand its "personality", I have had a flawless user experience ever since. Three cheers and five stars, Lanparte!! The gimbals wouldn't do its job
Doesn't work properly and will constantly shake my cameras with a horrendous vibration. Impossible to get a good video or photo shot. Always unbalanced twisting over to the sides. I tried many times with my go pro 4 silver and my iPhone 7. I calibrated it and even when it was perfectly done once I turn the device on will do a horrible crazy flipping around like timing a bull. Very disappointed .
