This GU295 has impressive specifications and also offers available accessories. One of the first specs to consider is that the GU295 is a slider phone. This type of mobile phone is desirable for a variety of reasons. First the LG GU295 is compact; it measures only 3.92x1.83x.64 inches. Small enough to stow in a pocket or purse the LG GU295 cell phone will go anywhere the user goes. A slider phone protects the phone and its number pad, so wear and tear on the phones’ numbers are kept to a minimum. The LG GU295 functions on the GSM AT&T mobile network. This LG cell phone has access to the Internet so that the user can search sites such as Google or Twitter through its XHTML browser. A 1.3 MP camera allows image sharing and video recording, and GU295 phones are also capable of sharing video. AT&T mobile phones use the GSM network and require a small computer card (SIM) to be activated. This SIM card or microSD, is inserted into the back of the cell phone next to the battery compartment. Detailed information on the card is located in the GU295 owners’ manual. The physical size of the display is 2 inches and the resolution is 176x220 pixels. Bluetooth technology on the GU285 allows the phone to be used without cords or wires. A “push-to-talk” feature allows the mobile phone to be used hands-free. For users who love music, this AT&T cell phone has a music player, album art cover recognition and music recognition. A GPS is available on the GU295 phone that provides information to the user on directions and allows a check on location. In an era of ever more complex apps and difficult to understand tablets and smartphones, the GU295 phone offers many popular features without the confusion. GSM enabled cell phones such as the GU295 phone feature messaging, e-mail, instant messages and games. The battery life of the GU295 supports 6.5 hours of talk time.
