Works but:
Unit is very heavy, I had to get it upstairs but the handles helped a lot. I like that it doesn't drain but it also doesn't remove enough of the moisture from the air. I also had to buy a fan to pull the cool air farther from the unit to spread the air throughout the room. If you need a air conditioner that runs continuously and remove the humidity this is not the one I only need it for sleeping and it cools very well.Unit is very heavy, I had to get it upstairs but the handles helped a lot. It's ok, but not sure I received the correct product.
I wanted to get an AC unit that I could move from room to room. Central air seemed liked a poor investment and a waste of energy. I installed it in my office and have used both the fan and AC function. I have used some of these portable devices before and am comparing this to those as well as a windowed unit as a point of reference. The unit that I received was gray not white. It came with a remote that didn't work. It was pretty easy to set-up, but heavier than I expected, having to lug it up some stairs was a pain. Overall the unit work ok. It does cool, but the precision seems pretty poor, the display jumps 2-3 degrees as a time, and generally it seems to run a little cooler or a little warmer than I would like, I found my windowed units to be more accurate and comfortable. It does work, and it does cool quickly, faster than my small windowed unit, it's not very quiet, maybe a little quieter than a windowed unit, but not much, so it's still fairly noisy. The fact works well and is pretty quiet, it seems to do a better job than a box fan or an oscillating fan, but of course it's much more expensive than those. I do miss a constant fan on when it's set to AC so that it continues to circulate air and just kicks in the AC when it needs to. So overall it's ok, it works, but not great.

Garage solution!
I'm limited on options for keeping comfortable while working in garage. I have an insulated oversized 3 car that will maintain comfortable temperature to work as long as I don't expect to use overhead doors. Obviously this unit is not rated large enough to cool an area this large but I'm impressed!

I absolutely love my Air conditioner it works very good I'm going to buy two more one for my mother. I highly recommend getting this air conditioner. It was easy to install the hose in the window and it keep my living room very cool. Thank you guys, it is well worth the money i spent for it.

Mind you the actual BTU for this unit is 7500. Not 12000. Keep that in mind when purchasing this unit. Cools my 200 foot room well. Under 300 and shipped to your distant neighbors door. Luckily they were honest and let me know right away. All in all a fine purchase for the price. Thank you
