Sealed massive non tubeless ready fat bike wheelset!
I have 100mm wide rims and 4.9 in tires for my fatbike wheelset. Neither the rim or tire are tubeless ready. I trimmed (narrowed) the existing Rim strip then covered it with Gorilla Tape to seal the rim. I then used a method similar to split tube however I used cut to fit strips of vinyl cabinet liner. Sealed that with flexible Gorilla Glue underneath and overlapped it with a strip of Gorilla Tape. After I put the tire on I poured in 8 oz of orange seal and the wheel aired right up! I lost 2 lb of pressure during my first 3 Mile Road ride, then lost 3 lbs overnight the first night. This is to be expected even on a tubeless ready setup. After taking the bike on a long and bumpy trail ride I no longer lost any pressure and the wheel is still sealed! I wish orange seal was sold at my ... I bought a new set of race-specific tubeless tires which at first were quite a challenge to keep aired up. I wanted to blame the sealant, then I realized the tires were to blame. There were tons of pinhole leaks in the sidewalls that the Orange Seal was working overtime to seal, which it did. And, it's important to note that I was never left stranded. After a few days I added another ounce to the front tire and haven't had a problem since, even when the bike sat for a few days. If it can keep tires like mine aired up, it will definitely work on yours. I bought a new set of race-specific tubeless tires which at first were quite a challenge to keep aired up. Performs as expected
Yes, it does last a little longer than other similar sealants. I can go for several months without refill. Also, once I had a small TEAR in my tubeless tire and I was able to make it home! It actually sealed the tear (about 1/4 inch).

I'm finally getting around to trying tubeless tires and everything that I've read says this stuff is one of the best. I have not had any complaints what so ever with about 2 months of riding on it. I'll update things as I get more mileage in on the tires. Very happy with the product so far!

Good stuff, has sparkles
Been using Stan's, but Orange Seal is Stan's For Millenials so I tried it. Has glitter in it, supposed to seal larger holes. Can't say if it does - riding over a year with it and no flats I know about. One issue though - it seems to clog the valve stem more often than Stan's. Gunk or glitter gets in valve and then tire will not hold air
