The carbon fiber pole arrived on time. Fast shipping but the design does not appear to be very robust. I’ve not used it yet but my initial thought is that I’m afraid that the middle connection is not strong enough to handle the force applied during wet sand digging. It might be good for dry sand though. It is however very inexpensive but I was hoping for more.

    Good product. Would purchase an other one if needed.

    The walls of the shaft are thin but I reinforced it by inserting a 5 inch piece of 3/4 inch pvc sprinkler pipe in the end of the shaft where it clamps on to the sand scoop. Now the shaft has more support where it’s needed.
