Works exactly like his YouTube video shows. Easy to install and now I need to get more for other guitars. Installed in my Yamaha FG340 6 string and it made a noticeable difference in brightness, tone and sustain. I have had the guitar for 40 years. I installed the second ToneBar on one course of strings on my Yamaha FG411 and you can really hear the difference. I was able to test the high B and E string pairs and again noticed the same difference as in my 6 string. I will order more soon.

For $10~ it's a inexpensive experiment and I think it does transfer more energy to the top, but I don't have the equipment to measure. I installed on a inexpensive parlor guitar and it seems to make the laminate top more lively. Will install one on my Martin and see how that sounds. But over all O think it does what it is supposed to do.
