    Nice for commuting or touring

    These pedals replaced an old pair of Time Atacs. Compared to the Atacs, entry and exit is very easy. I recently fractured my ankle, and the effort to get out of the Atacs was worrisome. I have no such worries with these pedals. The release is a little “mushy”, but that’s a minor concern for commuting and touring. It might be a bigger problem for racers. The platform is big enough to provide support up to 30 miles or so. I haven’t yet gone on any longer rides, so I can’t address all-day comfort. The quality seems excellent, as expected from Look. All in all a great set of pedals.

    Xt vs. look pedals

    I have used xt pedals for 12+ years. I have always had great luck, with very few issues. Thought I would give the Look pedals a shot. I live in rocky, dusty Arizona. So far the Look pedals have been great. The only thing I am concerned with is the plastic cover that covers the nut and bearings.
