Tire is lightweight with good rolling resistance so may work for and XC setup if the riding is on smooth terrain. Tire lasted about 120 miles on my ride before a large puncture at the top of tire happened. Was riding some rocky terrain so maybe it was an unfortunate placement of the tire. Either way wouldn't think the tire would fail so soon.

I’m running this on the the rear with a 2.35 in the front. It’s lightweight and grippy for the most part. It replaced a brand spanking new S-Works that ended up with a sidewall slash from rocks on the first ride. Should’ve purchased this in the first place.
