    Compact, flexible, sounds great

A compact and flexible semi-modular system, great for getting into modular synthesis or adding some analogue punch to your setup at a bargain price. Good build, and good connections. Some of the modular functions are a bit obscure, and you may never use them - I can think of a few different features which may have been more useful. And the analogue delay is too noisy to use in any recording process - bypass it and use external effects. Otherwise, excellent.

You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. For the price you can't really complain. However it won't be long before you are looking for something a little more. I would consider this as an entry level unit and is great for that. It can be integrated with other units that you may purchase creating a much larger system (that's how I use it). Every synthesiser unit you buy will have it's pro's and con's. For me it lacks depth (body), that something that rocks the foundations. I would have liked to have seen another LFO, but you can't have everything. For the price it's great.

  • The Behringer Neutron, a fantastic synth with endless sonic posibilities!

I'm extremely pleased with the Neutron, superbly made, sounds fantastic and truly remarkable value. The huge patchbay gives unrivalled sonic possibilities and the Synth beutifully compliments my Behringer Model D; I highly rate the new Behringer Synths and the Neutron ceratinly doesn't dissapoint - just buy one!

  • Unbelievable Synth

Whether new to synths or a seasoned pro, the Neutron delivers on all fronts. For less than £300 it’s an absolute bargain. The 3340 oscillators sound lush & warm. This is not a Behringer product of old, it’s well built and sturdy. Being semi modular it makes noise right out of the box, but the patch bay gives it capabilities of much more expensive modular systems. I’ve just ordered the Model D to go with as I’m so blown away by this little beauty.

  • A real value package - for me, it was a bargain!

Continuing a line of classic analog synths, Neutron with it's dual VCO-s and highly flexible architecture is really a tool to enjoy. Two-ways USB connection makes it shine in computer-infested stacks, too. It's mechanic construction is eurorack-ready and it allows misc. homebrew add-ons as well. Be cautious with VCO tuning knobs, though - touching those inadvertently may ruin the very climax of your gig... ;)
