    Amazing Value Ultrawide but....

    Ultrawide at a great price. Super high quality Nikon Nikkor quality lenses as usual. Build is VERY plastic, even the mount in plastic. Rear element doesn't extend into the camera body like older ultra wides, which is nice. Main gripe is the lack of VR switch. I thought I'd miss the M/A focus switch, but the easy to use automatic override with the manual ring works great. No vignetting with one filter, very minimal with two. Can also still use this with a Cokin P single filter mount without vignetting.

    Great lens for any photographer!

    Photography is a hobby for me. I however can spot a great deal. The lens fit my Nikon d3500 perfectly! The images are sharp and clear. It is a great lens if you want to get more "in frame"! This is a perfect lens for architecture and landscape pictures. I am am very happy with this lens.

    Nikon 10-20

    This lens is very sharp in 12-18 range at wide opening with some soft corners. Once stopped down one stop or more the corners becomes sharp too. The 10-12 and 18-20 range of this lens is soft wide opened and improves slightly if stopped one or more stops of light. It never reaches perfect sharpness at both extreme ranges especially in the corners, but this is to be expected at this price. The optical quality is excellent for the price. The lens doesn't seems to be very durable as it's mount is plastic. Overall a good compromise for a occasional photographer. A professional photographer should pay at least double the price for better performance and better quality.

    Wide angle needed

    I was in need of a wide angle lens that was not to pricey. After doing the research there was a number of favorable reviews, so I decided to take a shot. The price was very good and considering the lens was rarely used I made the purchase. I am so glad I made the buy. I had two events recently that required so wide angle shots and they came out great.
