Erarbeitet wird sie mit Hilfe der aktuellen Befunde der PISA-Studie unter Ber cksichtigung der Theorie Pierre Bourdieus und seinen berlegungen zur Chancengleichheit im Bildungssystem. Auf die Frage, ber welche solide Bildung die Jugendlichen mit 15 bzw. 16 Jahren verf gen, kann PISA m glicherweise eine Antwort bieten. Ein Blick auf die j ngste PISA-Studie 2009 l sst jedoch erkennen, dass die Leistungen der einzelnen Sch lerinnen und Sch ler mit ihrer sozialen Herkunft und damit verbundenen Erwartungen an das Bildungssystem zusammenh ngen. Auch Pierre Bourdieu hat sich im Laufe seiner Arbeit ber Ungleichheiten im Bildungssystem Gedanken gemacht. Das zweite Kapitel erm glicht Einblicke in die Theorie Bourdieus. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die Klasse als Entstehungskontext des individuellen Habitus gelegt. Der Erwerb des Habitus und sein Spielraum f r Handlungen wie auch Bourdieus Kapitalbegriff werden knapp dargestellt. Im dritten Kapitel wird das sterreichische Schulsystem vorgestellt, es werden das Konzept und die Befunde der PISA-Studie erl utert sowie auf Chancenungleichheit im Sinne Bourdieus untersucht. Ein OECD-Projekt wie PISA liefert der Bildungspolitik Grundlagen f r Qualit tsverbesserung . Es zeigt verschiedene St rken und Schw chen des sterreichischen Bildungssystems auf. Betrachtet werden die Leistungsunterschiede insbesondere im Hinblick auf Bildung der Eltern, sozio konomische Faktoren und Migration.
