    Very good watch has a few drawbacks.

    Pros: The watch looks good and is nicely finished. The link pins do not fall out like on Seikos. The sapphire watch glass is very scratch proof. The dial is actually larger than it appears to be in the ads. Cons: The day/date display is recessed so deep that not enough light reaches it make it readable half of the time. The powered light that lights the face does not reach the day/date display. The link pins are prevented from falling out by a tiny spring pin that goes around each one. If you lose a spring pin when changing a link pin, I do not know where you would find a replacement. Regular exposure to bright sunlight is required for the solar cell to keep the battery charged. The link pin at one end of the clasp can be moved to fine adjust the length of the bracelet. But it can only be ...

    Classic look with great features

    I like the elegant look of the watch face and the subtlety of the digital window. I have gotten compliments on the watch. The hour markers are raised above the hands which gives the face a different sense of depth. The display in the digital window can be hard to see in low light due to the dark on black, but I expected that. The light, which sits under the six o'clock marker doesn't help with the digital display and it stays on for only one second. I don't mind that you can't read the digital with the light but the illumination time is too short. It is very comfortable on the wrist once I removed the extra links, which can be difficult if you don't have the pin remover tool because there's an sleeve in the link which makes the pin have a tight fit.     My favorite watch yet!

    I had long admired the Casio Oceanus but never could pull the trigger on a $500 wristwatch for daily wear. I came across this one and it ticked all my checkboxes: 1) sapphire crystal, 2) solar quartz movement (with radio sync a bonus!), 3) elegant, yet simple styling. This watch looks great both day and night. The time is synced perfectly to the atomic clocks at work. The illumination serves the purpose well. I have moved away from tritium dials due to the short life, and prefer the on-demand LED illumination. I highly recommend this watch, it looks better than the photos can depict.

    A Great ladies watch.

    With atomic solar there is no more need for battery replacement, or time adjustment. It is just unfortunate that Casio’s design of the digital readout area is a black background making it difficult to see the information. Their other equivalent watches have a white background which makes seeing the info much easier.

    Awesome watch!

    It is beautiful to look at and play with the face dial in the way it projects sun rays across the face. All the complicated information can be learned with a manual in english, provided by googling the manual. It is meant to be a world watch and is aimed at giving world time zones that automatically re-adjust if you are a traveler. You will have to get a watch-smith to change the wristband, because it requires prior knowledge to add new links. Once adjusted to your wrist, the watch is a delight to ignore. The difference in weight from the titanium is not significant enough to be able to have this dial face, instead of the only face choice with the titanium option. The day and date in the little dark window requires a point light to give it reflection to read, and that is sometimes ...
