    Canon doesn't update support drivers for their products

    Didn't come with a connector/power cable. Not compatible with Windows 10 because Canon doesn't provide updated support for their products. Found drivers through a third-party service, but they wanted fifty dollars to unlock their program, you can get a new Epson scanner for twenty dollars more. Because the Canon Lide scanner doesn't have independent power, it took almost twenty seconds to scan a 4" x 6" picture. Colors were muted and resolution was not optimal. I'm sure it was a fine, state-of-the-art scanner two decades ago, but I've become spoiled by modern technology and expect a bit more. This one's going into the electronics recycling bin.

    Does Not Work With Windows 7 or Newer

    Bought this for my Windows 10 laptop before discovering it's incompatible with anything after Windows Vista.
