Red Dot Cool as Snot!
This is the original "red dot" sight, that was really most popularized early on in the movies we watched as teenagers. Seriously, I would have preferred the green version, but couldn't justify the additional expense on my budget. This sight by Viridian is a breeze to mount, using only two Allen head screws, which hold it very securely. It fits perfectly, conforming to the trigger guard and complimenting the look of the Bersa. It claims to be factory-sighted, but proved to be a little left of center. It was easy enough to dial in using a boresighter, to at least get a baseline before taking it to the range. Also, it still fit in my concealment holster with just a little adjustment to the thumb strap. did not fit well on my Bersa 380
Contours inside the mount on the side that holds the battery matched the trigger guard fairly well on my Bersa 380. Contours on the opposite side did not match trigger guard. Extremely (extremely) hard to install and now I'll have to open it back up when battery needs changing. Did not expect that. But it was $99 - would not have paid $250 for top quality. Easy to zero. Have not fired gun yet.
