Looks in perfect condition, but doesn't work.
Despite having a current subscription to Comcast and using other features of the Comcast service, this adapter doesn't work at all. Text on the TV when connecting the adapter is that it can't find service. Complete waste of money.

Double Check...
I found out the hard way, you can't buy a cable box with the same model number and expect it to work. I bought the same model number, for the same cable parent company, but 175 miles away. Box didn't work. Gave a message to call my cable company.

You absolutely can not use these unless you rent these from your cable provider, This has to be placed on your active cable account. Otherwise you are buying a piece of equipment which has already been deactivated, and is considered lost or stolen.
