    Best PC Tablet Combo

    I bought this mainly for the functionality of being able to draw on the screen. As a graphic artist, I've always used a Mac and Wacom tablet. But it's bulky to lug around the house when I want to work somewhere other than my office. The Surface book is just amazing. The pen feels so natural and works so smoothly. Now I just have to tote around my Surface Book. It runs the full Creative Cloud programs flawlessly. The battery life for just the tablet portion could be better but I use it mainly attached to keyboard since I want the GPU when I working in Photoshop -- and I need my keyboard shortcuts. Overall, the build is excellent I have been very happy with it.

    Fast, lightweight, extra long batter life

    I believe this is the fastest computer I have ever owned as far as boot time. I push the power button the keyboard lights up the Surface logo appears very briefly and boom my login screen shows. The battery life is really good, with the screen brightness at 25-30% it will easily last 10 hours on a single charge using Excel and or web browsing. The finish of the laptop is superb, the track pad is by far the best I've ever used, it really feels like a premium/luxery product.

    The "bridge between tablet and laptop"

    Have been looking for years for something that would bridge the laptop and the tablet. I also own a Surface Pro 4 but always had a problem with the keyboard and the Tablet combination especially on aircraft when traveling. Those little drop down tables are not condusive to great balance with a tablet with attached keyboard, but are no problem with the Surface Book. Just the thing I was looking for.

    I bought it "for parts". The display part turned out to be in pristine condition which made me very happy. The base part however was water-damaged (which was the "expected" part). Overall, it was a very favorable purchase.
