Quiet as a good stteed should be.
I ride a Cinelli Vigorelli track bike. The simplicity of one gear, no derailleur hardware gives a quiet ride that adds to the peace of the long distance cycling that I live for. This free wheel glides in the spin mode with no ball bearing whir. That, and that alone, makes it perfect. I replaced the original with a TL-FW40 Freewheel Single Speed 2PRG SS BMX / MTB / Fixie. I never liked the noise. Happy to get back to hearing nothing more than the beat of my heart pounding in my chest while climbing to the clouds. Ooorah Master Chief.
