A value at the right price
The Harmon Kardon Invoke is a great looking and sounding speaker. It is responsive to commands and has not had any trouble understanding commands from anyone in the family. I purchased the Invoke when it was on sale for $40. Unfortunately I'm unsure of continued support from Microsoft on this product (as of May 2019 Pandora integration is still missing). So while I have really enjoyed the sound and quality of the product, missing music applications (iHeart and Spotify are available) and potential lack of continued support make it hard to recommend unless you find it at a good price.The Harmon Kardon Invoke is a great looking and sounding speaker. Microsoft has all but abandoned this product, hence the great deal. As a Bluetooth, it is gorgeous. Cortana is functional and useful, but likely won't provide a great experience for anyone who wasn't a Windows Mobile/Cortana user before

All in all it's an interesting device that needs some improvement though to be the best
Pros: - very good looking; - high quality materials used by harman kardon; - nice, clear sound; - the micprophones catch your voice from almost anywhere even from other rooms; - Cortana has some nice answers such as "dude!" when you ask if she likes to party , even can play "rock paper scissors" etc. Cons: - at max. volume , the speaker looses the strong bass , it sounds more like screaming than music :) , but you don't need max. volume for a good audition as it has enough power to serve a good audition at about 60-80 % vol. - the initial setup pairing is very hard if you're outside US , as you'll need Cortana app for android, iphone etc and it's not available in Europe. - the plug in adapter is a mess, it needs lot of improvement; - the bluetooth does not work too well, I did not managed ... Although the Cortana system is not as popular as the google and apple system, this speaker is one of the best you can get for sound. It's also Bluetooth compatible so that you can stream from your phone or other Bluetooth device to it.
