" Good bye Wifi , hello Powerline "

I had friends over and the wifi wasnt working for me . the product was easy to install and the speed i was getting was incredible with very low ( LOW ) buffering issues . i dont know why i didnt think about doing this with high end tvs , blu ray players , gaming devices , and streamer boxes . like most consumers , I thought wifi could take care of all the " hard wire " problems without having to run a bunch of cables all over the house . i was so wrong ! once you plug into the router , then plug the 2nd device into the other electrical outlet where the device would be plug into . after that , its ready to process through your electrical lines ...... IF you dont have this product , then i will suggest you purchasing it A.S.A.P !

    Worked at first

It was easy to set-up, just plug it in and connect an ethernet cable to it. It arrived quickly but had to clean it as it has a nasty residue on it but once it was done, it was as good as new. Unfortunately, it is not working after using it for a month. I have switched to a new router to see if that was the case but it isn't. My pc with a wifi adapter is working while the pc with the powerline connected isn't. I can't consider this a refferal as my powerline pc is my main pc handle most of my bills and work load.

  • New Version vs Old Version

Worked great right out of the box, I bought 2 of these to expand my Powerline Network, I purchased two adapter thinking that the adapters were V2 adapters after all the picture shown are the V2. I have two V2's and I wanted to make sure they would work well with my existing V2's. When I received them they were not, the were the V1 Nano. With that said, they work well with the V2, so well that I just plugged them into the wall were I needed a network connection and they work without ANY configuration. Final though, they say 500Mbps but do not be surprised that you don't actually the speed advertised at best I have not been able to get more the 160Mbps. That is a common issue with all network powerline adapters. I would highly recommend either V1 or V2.

  • Great concept - works surprisingly well!

Great way to eliminate extra wires. Very easy to setup and secure. Connected on first try and maintains setup even when disconnected/unplugged and reconnected. Reset feature available if setup lost. Would recommend to anyone who does not want to or can not go wireless or wireless signal weak.

  • Love this product!

Maybe it doesn't perform at 500Mbps because of a 10/100 port on the device. Does it really matter for my situation? Nope! I love this! I bought the first batch of powerline adapters that came out over 15 years ago and they were a PIA. These are amazing. One button push and the devices synced. I get my full Internet speed available at the end point. My wifi is spotty in that area and constantly dropped out. For the price it is so worth it to have constant reliable internet access without worry about whether someone turns on their microwave next door. Love it!
