    Lenovo L530 running Fedora 23

    If you have used linux for any period of time and you have shopped for peripherals, you know that products you might assume will work on your system are not always explicitly labeled as doing so from the manufacturer. So when I can, I leave feedback on products that successfully work on my computers running linux. Hopefully this helps someone out there trying to make an informed decision about buying this product and saves them the hassle mail order trial and error. This works perfectly on my Lenovo L530 running Fedora 23 Workstation 64 bit. No configuration needed. Literally plugged it into my mini display port and then plugged the hdmi cable into my 1080p TV. Fedora instantly extended ,y desktop onto the TV. It is worth noting that it does not transmit audio on my system. I don't if it ...

    Worked great for the first 15 days

    This adapter worked great, and delivered a solid picture. It seemed promising until I noticed small flickers from my external monitor. At first I thought nothing of them, as they were barely noticeable. As time progressed however, the flickers got worse. Today when I plugged the male end of the mbp adapter into my MacBook, my monitor displayed nothing but static. After over an hour of physically adjusting the cords position, unplugging/plugging cables in my setup, trying multiple HDMI cables, and restarting my monitor and MacBook, the adapter itself is indeed the issue :(

    Little disappointing!

    I bought this product before and love it. It worked very well. Then I lost and I went and bought another one (exactly the same product). For some reason, the new one did not perform well. Sometimes my screen would go off and I have to plug/unplug many times to get it to work back again. Not sure why it did.

    Does not work with all hdmi cables

    Good product and works as advertised however if it does not work at first make sure you have a newer hdmi cable . That solved my problem

    If using for a MacBook Pro and a 4k tv think again!

    Did not work at all with a MacBook Pro Retina, running Sierra 10.12.6, and a Samsung 4k tv. If I find later I missed something I will update this review.
