      Not a gimmick. I highly recommend it.

      Many years ago I heard of the Braun self-cleaning shavers. After using expensive Schick shavers for over 13 years, I tried the Braun Series 7, recommended from TheWireCutter. Wow. I will never go back. This self-cleaning solution works well. It cleans better than rinsing in the sink somehow. It really will make your shaver last longer and sharper. I am not an advocate of expensive or disposable things, but this stuff is worth it. Instead of shaving once every 4 or 5 days, now I can shave every day. It doesn't smell and lasts quite awhile shaving 5 days per week. Try it. Use it. This German designed product really is worth the money.

      Hard To Review, But I'll Try!

      The reason it's difficult is that I haven't used the product. It is a package of refills for my new Braun razor, and I'm still using the original pack that came with the product. HOWEVER, this looks identical in all respects, it was shipped promptly, was exactly as described, and looks just like the original pack that's in use. And, of course, the price was right! That's five out of five stars!

      Series 7

      Never liked shaving, the series 7 has removed a major hurdle, for me. Shaving is quick, easy and not a chore. Staying with a factory clean and renew cartridge, is a good idea. Best system I ever used.

      Legendary Braun quality

      If you own one of the Braun shavers that use this cleaner you have to use it frequently to get the most life out of the block/cutter group. Most local stores don't carry this product anymore given the age of these shavers. It's wise to stock up when you find these cartridges at a good price.

      Old shaver made like new

      Got this shaver from a friend yrs ago, used it, didn't use it much now, didn't even know about the cleaning system and how it worked. Looked on Google of course....found cleaning refills needed to be changed, ordered them, worked like a charm!!! its like new, started using it again. THanks.
