    Functional and well made.

    Bought it to replace a very old Taylor unit of similar design that had broken. The Escali unit is nicely made, has clear meat temperature markings and is oven-safe, plus very affordable.

    Good oven therometer!

    Like all meat thermometers, this brand only works for about a year, but it is a good one. I like the red arrow which can be rotated to mark the goal temperature when doing a roast.
