    Good enough

    I put it in a standard interior door about an inch and a half thick and it works fine. The only downside is that there is no spacer to fill the gap between the front of the cat door and the back. So if the door is hollow you can see right into it. I used white tape to cover that space before installing the door and that works ok to mask the gap. Good quality otherwise and the magnetic closer is a great feature.

    Good product for the price.

    This is a low cost pet door for small animals, under 12 lbs. I would think. It works well and is weather proof. Certainly worth the price. Be advised that the larger pets that will fit through this door will likely be able to defeat the locking mechanism if they are determined.

    Innovative, fool proof door.

    This door can be used without a complicated locking mechanism. Perfect for INDOOR applications, which is what I needed. It contains an internal magnet, that holds the door in the closed position, but opens easily when your pet wants to get thru, then returns to closed position automatically. It was affordable enough, that I bought two of them. My cat loves it!

    This cat door works great

    This cat door was easy to install and works great for my small cats. If your cats are bigger you will need the larger cat door. It has a lock so you can keep the cats from going in and out if you want to also.

    Perfect for my needs

    I don't understand how these other manufacturers of cat doors can charge can charge $15-$50 for a simple flap in a door. Is this cat door one side comes with screws to attach it, the other side comes with sticky foam tabs. I found a much neater installation can be done by eliminating the foam tabs and using a few beads of hot glue. You could eliminate the screws on the other side using this much simpler method. My cat really seems to enjoy the door.
