    Cheap item, so don't pay big prices!

    Bad points: The item is poorly made, power socket was not in line, so had to force the power plug into the socket, which could have been the end right there. The lid was badly glued and was soon in two halves. All items were just in a box with nothing to hold them, smashing into each other as the postman throws it around! Very poor packaging inside, outside box is sturdy. Good points: It works. I bought this to power my hungry Meade DSI (5V/5amp). Usb2 leads don't work over 5 meters, active repeaters don't have any power boost, so I added this powered HUB at the telescope end, and yes it does boost the power (5V/2amp) so I can now use the camera @ more than 5m away. Cheaply made, so far works but only time will tell.
