    My package arrived as New and Very Quickly, however this Very Expensive Tester is very disappointing.......I tested 3 GIA HPHT Colored Diamonds and they all tested as moissanite, Very Disturbing! May have to send it back!

    Natural colored and treated colored diamonds some are electrically conductive, the GemOro Ultra Tester 3+ should ideally be used on colorless stones only. This limitation applies to all testers that utilize thermal & electrical conductivity methods for testing the authenticity of the stone.The Ultra Tester 3+ is not meant to replace the trained gemologist and is a helpful device only designed to be used as a quick method for helping to identify diamond, moissanite, and white sapphire.

    Worth it!

    I have had many testers, and they constantly broke, or I had to replace a part before the expectancy, and this Gemoro ultra tester 3 is the best I have used yet. Accurate and quick. Easy to maintain, and I’ve actually found a few stones that were diamonds that my other testers didn’t catch. Thanks again
