Reviews
[An] elaborate, colorful, and affectionate portrait of a canal town in its growing pains. Obviously Adams has not only gone back to the sources but has lived with them for a long time before writing his account of a young doctor setting up his practice.

  • Beautiful copy of a favorite book

This book was read to my daughter when she was a little girl, and the story was as riveting for us as it was for her. Beautifully written, Canal Town brings history to light, especially for a family of upstate New Yorkers. I couldn’t have found a more beautiful copy. It was carefully packed and shipped quickly, too. Super pleased!
