I can drop this phone in a puddle, wash it off, dry it and stick it back in my pocket without a care. It's a flashlight, a clock, a compass, a datebook, a camera, and I can receive - and send, albeit clumsily - short text messages. This unit has a defective interior microphone, so I have to keep it on speaker phone to use the outside mic in order to be heard. Bad service
I got the phone express and got it one the right day I was suppose to . I went to use it and it was defective , I called the number to send it back. Got and answering machine left a message and never heard back from anybody, weird thing the company is in New York but had a Minnisota phone number. I'm not impressed with their service. I'm sorry I tried to buy a phone this way. Never again.

Whether you’re talking about the Casio G’zOne Ravine C751 or the Ravine 2 C781… they’re both excellent Phones. I don’t want to go with a “Smart Phone” and just like having a Basic Phone that makes calls and maybe send a text or two. The BONUS on these Phones is that they are very durable. I’ve read many… many reviews on these Phones and all the negative thing about them. I’ve had no bad experiences with my phone. I bought my first one when they first came out (full price). After my friend saw mine… she bought one. Hers did stop working a little while ago and she did get a replacement (that she did not like) … I offered her mine telling her I had a spare (only way she would take it). She still has my original one I bought “NEW” and still going… I did end up buying a few off of the ... A few times that I forgot to plug in the phone lasted the second day. I only use my phone for Calls & text. I do not go on line or use it as a GPS. I’m also not a big Phone user. So your results may be the same as mine. I go down a ramp off of a straight truck and have dropped the phone more than a few times. This phone takes a beating and has never given me a problem. As with my fist one… I did buy a Leather Turtleback case for it. After years of use and handing it over to my friend… It looked as new as the first day I bought it. Still had the plastic label on the back. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone that just wants a phone to make Calls & Text on.

Battery Issues
This battery will not hold a charge, only about 24 hrs life without use of the phone, any use of the phone knocks the battery down in just a matter of hours. The rest of the features of the phone I love.

This was a replacement for a iPhone which got broken and because I'm still on the plan w/ Verizon I need a replacement and there was no way I was paying to replace or fix it. This phone being what it is "teaches my son a lesson" and works fine. It will be used until he pays for fixing the iPhone. Activating it was as simple as inserting the SIM card.
