Great stuff! Just got a 2004 eclipse gts and this made the synchros feel so smooth when shifting! It was hard to pull out of gear and grinded if I tried to shift quickly before replacing the very burnt smelling old fluid with this liquid gold. It also took away the “bad throw out bearing” sound it had!!! I bought the car thinking I would be rebuilding a transmission sooner than later and I now believe that’s no longer the case.

Using the correct GL-4 saves your tranny.
This is GL-4 and they quit making this. Making it more expensive. The dealership replace transmissions now with GL-5 which is not good for yellow metals and causes corrosion. Since it’s cheaper for all to use GL-5 that’s what dealers/mechanics are putting in for transmission flushes. I bought this 75w-90 GL-4 at a good price and it’s definitely worth putting the correct fluid in a high heat tranny. Especially when your manual states to use GL-4 “only” so yes I highly recommend using GL-4 75w-90. In high rev high heat trannys. This is GL-4 and they quit making this. Making it more expensive. I’m running a trick out 2013 v6 4.0 liter Daily Driver/ Rockcrawler with the original trans. Since I beat the crap out of my truck I change all fluid in the drive train and axles ever year. I used all sorts of manual Gl-4 & GL-5 fluids but this one takes he cake....
