    Great little machine

    Great little machine.. the mid 2010 Mini Mac is super easy to upgrade RAM. Also easy, and free to upgrade to the very latest Op system. It originally came with 2GB of RAM which made it super slow almost to the point of being unuseable for anything but viewing web pages. Upgrading to 8GB is super easy and cheap and you have a really useable little machine. I use mine for creating 3D models for printing and it copes quite well.. not the fastest and we have the odd crash in a couple of programs but all in all for the money its great. BTW I am a crossover PC user , my first time with Mac and its just easy to use mostly.. some of it is quite clunky, and ugly, which is surprising for an Apple product.

    Excellent with the upgrades installed, solid as a rock.

    2GB of Ram is no where near enough if possible install at least 8GB ideally 16GB and a SSD drive will make a massive performance improvement. Easy to upgrade checkout the Youtube videos take your time and be organised, An excellent workhorse, using mine for music production Logic Pro X. Make note this will only go up to High Sierra however it will run very well on that. Virtually silent in operation.

    Up grade from G4 Mirror door Mac.

    I bought this model as it was the last with DVD slot.It is, of course, very compact and takes up very little space on the desk.I am very pleased with the over all performance. I have upgraded the memory ram and loaded Lion 10.8.2.I look forward to many years stable computing after all it is a Mac!!

    Quality product doing great job as home media centre

    I was after a mac mini to create a home media centre and with the Optical drive and HDMI connection (found on the 2010 model) this has worked out well. I will probably upgrade the RAM at some point, but running well so far.
