This was the only seat replacement I could find. Herman Miller seems to offer no support for its chairs out of warranty. It is some work to install this mesh seat. Holes were missing for most of the screws. Easy enough to drill them. Stretching the seat into position to insert the screws took all my strength and ingenuity. The black mesh does not match my grey color chair but it was the only option. On the good side, I was pleasantly surprised that they included a replacement pad.

I was somewhat concerned about replacing the seat mesh on my Aeron, but it worked out well. As others mentioned, not all of the holes are drilled but the tapered screws will bite into the undrilled plastic and grab anyway. Despite the item description mentioning that a replacement seat cushion is not included, there was one provided with mine. Anyways, great not to have a ripped mesh stabbing the bottom of my legs. Thanks!

Exactly as described. Heads-up to buyers, there might be some burrs that need to be cut off. Very small and easy to remove. Also, there are no pilot holes, bu the screws will grip with pressure, or alternatively, drill shallow pilot holes to get them started.

I tried contacting the seller twice, but they have yet to respond, the chair came in decent shape, but the back rest staples are clearly falling out, I requested a replacement back, but have had nothing back from the seller. I will try to call the store. But for almost $500 I would expect the staples to not be half ripped out and hanging on by a thread right out of the box.
