This leather is very stiff and will require a while of conditioning with the pistol inside with a plastic baggie. Upon arrival, I attempted to put it on my belt and place my Springfield XDM Elite 3.8 inside and it was quite difficult. Drawing it out was even harder! Has a grip like a vise which is no good for EDC if you need to draw to defend quickly. This holster in nicely made but definitely needs a long time to condition it to the pistol.

My personal choice is to have it come out of the holster easy rather than have to exert a lot of pressure to remove or inset handgun back in a holster. Mink oil is the answer, once it softens the leather a little it will be a very nice OWB holster. Quick shipping and easy deal on Ebay.
