Needs illustrations
I would recommend purchasing both this book and Dirk Van Loon's book "The Family Cow". They both provide useful information, and complement each other well. Joann has a lot of experience and shares it very articulately, yet illustrations would be helpful in a variety of places in the book. I have learned so much (and for years I thought I knew everything there was to know about feeding cows and goats).
