It works... but not until I put my own proper-size battery in it! You sent the wrong batteries with both of the ones I ordered. They were too small didn't fit right and would not even produce power when installed. I think you should send me 2 new proper-size batteries as you advertised them as coming with a new battery! The proper size is A-23 when you sent 27-A which is considerably and very noticeably much smaller in size!It works... but not until I put my own proper-size battery in it! Worked great -- just like the one my kids lost. You need the 4-bit code to match the setting on the ceiling fan. I couldn't remember so I just tried all combinations until it worked. Very happy.
