My 1000XM2 snapped at the right side flimsy plastic that Sony has not changed knowing it’s an issue for many generations making $300 headset unusable. This good quality part was easy to replace with 4 micro screws on either side and the headset is now usable again rather than spending another $300 on a new model which will break again. Only negative side is the retracting mechanism is little loose compared to the original
