    Good design but poor quality.

    Using both hands to crimp and the connector continued to come off the end of the cable. I had to use my standard electrical stripper crimper to get the connectors tight enough. If I had only known my electrical tool would work I would have had no need to buy this poor crimping tool. The main reason that I could see for it not working as you apply pressure the jaws twist rather than crimping the connector.

    Buy a better one

    I wouldn't recommend this tool, even for occasional use. If you're crimping cable connectors, buy yourself a better tool. This has a very narrow contact surface and tends to shear and break off a section of the connector. Better tools have a much broader surface to put pressure on the entire connector body. Better yet are the compression-type connectors and tools. This is what the pros use and what i m going to switch to.
