While the minimum crossover frequency is pretty high (I assumed their 3600 hz rating), the detail that this item delivers is as good as a true ribbon driver. It's more detail than the ribbon drivers with a voice coil printed on a film. In other words ... faster transient response .. This item has great value. Just be careful to pair it with a high grade mid-range unit that is good at 4 or 5 khz.

I always disliked the old K-77’s and am not willing to put $900 into the recommended upgrade. Frankly I’m happier with these - I absolutely love how they mix with horn midranges. Talk about detail. Also have been pumping a good amount of volume and they handle it well. Highly recommended.

As claimed, the usable frequency are up to 3,5 kHz. Measured sensitivity are 95,4 and 95,5 dB with 2,83 V.But they are print ribbon type ( like Hi-Vi Swans or Bohlender Graebener), NOT Air Motion Transducers.
