battery has a real serious problem- it dies so fast (20 minutes of usage and it dies)- so i had to buy a new battery.

I love blackberry and wish they would have built their products to last. Even if I replace the battery, the batteries aren't made to last in these anymore.

hi all The 9700 also known as bold bold execelente 2 is a product but still have the same problems of his predecessors as loss of signal, the cut of the call and the lack of original battery capacity. It is an ideal device for people who want to: 1. talk to a network of friends blackberry no cost. (you need a data plan) 2. Send messages quickly from your inbox. 3. So agile Send photos and short videos of useful information through blakcberry Messeger. 4. Short Sailing Site. For no good. 1. download applications as easy and agile as it is for the iphone. 2. Applications great for people with capidad of use that has the iphone. 3. Lack of visual space by the size of the display. In general it is a product for people who work and need neceitan all in your hands this is the choice. good luckRead full review
Other than the lack of good apps, games and use-based customization; this phone is worth the bucks. It is much faster than the older models, and the battery life is unsurpassable in comparison to the other leading cellphone companies. I enjoy everything about it, from SMS, BBM, email synchronization to picture quality and media capability. A well rounded phone, this phone is almost identical to, if not the same as the new model Bold 9780. It has a smaller RAM size, less MP camera and supports only up to 4GB memory card- it is still the best Blackberry on the market. Truly a high recommended phone, cheers. -chiou
I purchased this used, unlocked Blackberry Bold 9700 branded by T-Mobile. Overall, the phone works great. Calls are clear and the Wi-Fi is fast. That's where the good things stop. I called AT&T to see why I wasn't able to get the 3G to display on the screen. AT&T couldn't identify my phone on their network! My research is now telling me that RIM makes the same phone for both AT&T and T-Mobile and that includes all 3G bands, but they have a method of setting the phone to either T-Mobile's band frequency or AT&T's frequency, but not both. Both carriers use different frequencies for their 3G systems. Here is the bottom line: an unlocked T-Mobile phone will work on AT&T, but ONLY in 2G and NOT 3G! I wish I had known this prior to purchasing this phone, but I had no reason to research this sort of thing as my previous unlocked Nokia E-71 worked on any network. I gave this phone a "GOOD" rating because it does work good, but not great since it won't work on AT&T's 3G.Read full review
