Pump seems to be of good quality even though it's made in China. Instructions are poor. If you are not a professional installer like I am you will not be able to figure it out especially the wiring. Packing is insufficient with cheap thin formed Styrofoam so unit got damaged by the notorious UPS. Seller sent me a replacement part that was broke by UPS. The black fittings are poly carbonate which is compatible with PVC and PVC cement. Instructions say nothing about what glue to use. Poor!
