Decent RCA male, but has a couple of issues that can be worked around
These connectors get only three stars because of two issues. The dielectric will melt if you transfer a little too much heat from the soldering iron, so be careful of that. Best to plug the connector into an RCA female while doing the soldering so the pin stays perfectly centered and even if the dielectric does get soft, it will harden back up during cooling and the pin will remain centered and straight. The second issue is that the ground ground arm to barrel is a poorly constructed "pressed" arrangement and, in my opinion, it has the potential to be intermittent over time. It is physically loose, and that is never good. The fix is to actually solder the ground arm to the barrel. That way you know the ground will be solid forever. The center pin has a tiny screw in it, but since most ... These connectors get only three stars because of two issues. The computer program that comes with it will not work on Windows. You will need to download an alternate program from the internet. After all that, the microscope would not fully focus, . . . yes I did remove the lens cap.
