I compared features like BTU, SEER, and outside operating temperature. I needed a Mini split that would operate below 5 degrees Fahrenheit. The CH is rated down to -13 degrees. The price was lower than the DIY brands. I decided to purchase a HVAC vacuum pump so I can do the complete installation myself. The cost of the vacuum pump was well worth it because I ordered 3 units. An HVAC pro would be $300 each.
