This is a good product for protecting the surface of the Striker 4 fish finder screen when being transported, stored, or mounted and not being used at the time. But for a piece of snap on plastic the price is excessive as is all sporting equipment accessories and spare parts. But this is a necessity if you value protecting your display surface.

Surprised it doesn't fit more securely
When I ordered this I made sure it was for the correct model of Garmin fish finder, which it is, but when I went to put the protective cover on my device it just went into place, It didn't "snap" in place like I was expecting, which is disappointing. If you pick up the fish finder from the back and turn it over the cover can just fall off. I'm sure I could modify the cover to hold in place more securely but you shouldn't have to modify a product made specifically for the device. Right? If you decide to purchase this Garmin cover be aware it is not a snug fit and the cover will possibly just come off the device.

Nice cover but doesn’t fit properly
I purchased this to go on my Garmin Striker 4CV and was hoping that other folks just got a midsize product. Well I got mine in and it was the same. It fits but it is way to loose to leave it on while driving. It does not snap in place and hold as it should.

Cover Up
Garmin protective cover for the Striker 4/4dv works very well. It installs very simply, however, it is a bit difficult to remove, but that could be just me. It keeps the unit well protected during transport and while the boat is stored.

Good product, great fit!
This cover fits the Striker 4 perfectly. Other reviewers have complained that it fits too snugly and is difficult to remove. I like the fact that it fits as well as it does. If installed completely there is no chance of this cover blowing off, even while your boat is being trailered. It is simply a matter of learning how to install and remove it. It is designed to have the top of the cover installed first and then snap the bottom of the cover in place. Removal then is just the opposite. There is a tab the sticks down that you can get hold of with a couple of fingers to unsnap the lower edge of the cover first, then remove the upper edge. I believe that the cover is actually shown upside down in the picture above.
