I am just too conservative to wear a kilt in a public setting but for working around the property on a hot day, they are great. Lots of ventilation and lots of freedom of movement that can only be beaten by nothing at all. Having said that, this is a very nice kilt, the fabric is soft and very comfortable. It seems too nice to wear it for farm work, but that is what I purchased it for.
