Lots of bang for the buck
Where the normal battery of this model is rated at 1000 MA (MilliAmps), this unit is rated at 1700 MA. Haven't used it long enough to rate its performance, but IMnsHO, having that extra 70 percent of 'reserve power' is - to me - worth the price. Too, it came nicely packaged in a protective holder that will prevent battery terminals being shorted when the spare unit is just thrown in my camera bag, or the same pocket that I put my keys in.Where the normal battery of this model is rated at 1000 MA (MilliAmps), this unit is rated at 1700 MA.
