Right Part for the Job
When mounting a scope on a T/C Contender barrel, this mount is ideal. Screw holes match up with rear sight holes in barrel. Even a non-gunsmith like me can figure it out. The only possible problem is removing the rear sight which doesn't always just attach with easy to remove screws (depending on model of barrel) and might require a roll pin to be pushed out. After that, mounting this plate is easy and rings and scope go on easily. Position the scope for proper eye relief and you're ready ti tighten all of the screws and you're done!When mounting a scope on a T/C Contender barrel, this mount is ideal. Great scope rail for a scout mount.
The only difficulty I had was due to my choice of scope. I had a long eye-relief pistol scope laying around and it took almost all of the vertical adjustment to bring the point of impact down to center. If you use this rail with a long eye-relief rifle scope I doubt you'd have this problem. Just something to consider.
