Bought these to replace the factory high beam bulbs on my 2016 Highlander. The high beams are used as daytime running lights by dropping the voltage going to them. The standard bulbs were a dim yellow light. These new bulbs have a much whiter light making the daytime running lights more visible. I did turn them on high beam and they were really much brighter than factory bulbs. I'm sure the burn hours are less than the standard bulbs at full voltage but the cost is very reasonable. Buy several sets, pay one shipping cost and put the spare on the shelf until you need them. At the low voltage daytime light mode they should last for many years.
