Endless summer treats!
I am surprised that I can get a snowball maker of this quality for this little money. It works pretty well with ice cubes, but does even better with a small cup of frozen water; it makes the ice powdery. I’m from Louisiana and like my snowballs to have a snowy (Mr. Snow) texture. I also ordered Monkey Juice flavors, and I’m so happy with the result. I’ve also used it as ice for lemonade and look forward to frozen margaritas, too. Good purchase, especially for quarantine. I’m slightly baffled by the complaints about the mess because I make my snowballs on the patio, anyway. It’s true that you’d want a towel under it inside. Awesome snow cones!
This machine works amazing for shaving ice. It is incredibly easy and quick. You can even control the fineness of the ice shavings by applying more or less pressure to get a slower finer shave or faster to get a larger crystal. It is a little bulky to store away in a cabinet, but it fits right next to the waffle maker and will get more use during the year than that gets I’m sure. The blade is tucked inside the opening nicely and the machine won’t operate if the handle is up so it is good for my kids, although I honestly won’t let them near it. We will see how long the blade lasts but it looks fairly easy to switch out if ever needed. Best of all there are no awful plastic parts attached. Cheap Price, for a Quality Product!
Powerful machine (not a gadget like some might think for the price) that gets the job done. Yes, it spits a bit of ice on the floor and you might have to wipe a few drops that have turned to water from the counter, but that's obviously something that comes with making shaved iced. The ice is perfect. Almost like snow. The price can't be beaten. Amazon doesn't get close.

I would buy again if I ever needed to, but my days of buying snow cone machines is now over. This machine crushes ice so fast and turns it into delouse snow ice.
