      Excellent quality, great price!

      I've been using MANN filters for many years now on several Volvo vehicles I own and I have zero complaints, zero issues. The quality appears to be every big as good or better than name brand filters at big box and part stores that can cost 2x as much.

      An excellent option for DIY replacement in Volvo 5 cylinder engines.

      These oil filters are just made for the 5 cylinder Volvo engines, in which there is a cartridge filter, with a re-usable steel cover. They are of excellent quality, and come with a new rubber gasket. Excellent for DIY installation, but it is very helpful if you have a special "wrench" to fit over the lower portion of the filter, to loosen it from its threads. These are available from IPD Volvo Parts in Portland, OR., for about $7. This filter price is about 50% of the normal retail level.

      good deal, i think it should be as good as the spin on/off version.

      i used mann filters in all my volvos. i bought a v70 which did not use a spin on/off filter. so, using a mann cartridge filter seemed like the best bet. i am on my first oil change, so we will have to wait and see.
