    Check engine light

    This is oem quality, I purchased other gas cap from local parts store and still had check engine light on. I purchased this one , genuine Chevrolet factory part and it solved the problem, no more light.

    Good Quality Part

    OEM parts are best!

    If you have a check engine light change the gas cap to OEM just to rule it out. Easy and not much money.

    Easy to install

    Fits very tight compared to my original of 12 years. Did not shut off the check engine light like some people mentioned so I guess I'll have to get it reset. Other than that I satisfied with the product.

    OEM parts work the BEST!!!

    I was getting a check engine light and "Tighten Gas Cap" errors daily on a used Tahoe I had recently purchased. Garage wanted to replace fuel pump/sending unit for $1200.00, saying there was a leak around the unit. The gas cap on the vehicle was not like the old on my old Tahoe so I ordered this one. Looking at the differences in the two, I could see that the o-ring seals were in different positions. Haven't had an error since replacing the gas cap with OEM replacement.
